Oscar: Nine Weeks Old

Oscar turned two months old on Friday and 9 weeks old today. At his checkup last week, he was 13 pounds and 3 ounces, and at two months old, he's growing out of clothes that his brother wore at three months.

Here's a look back at Axel at nine weeks old.

Axel is looking skeptical about this crisp fall weather (and the multi-layered ensembles he's now sporting.) My summer baby is used to being nearly naked, so he isn't so sure about hand-knit sweaters and fiddly hats. Getting out the door in the appropriate attire is proving to be a challenge for both of us.

This week we're aiming for a little less action, more early nights, and a little more cooking at home. Will enjoys teasing me for my obsession with soup season, but it's no joke. I am so pleased it's time for big cast iron pots full of squash soup and the like. What could be better than a cozy bambino and steaming, delicious savory smells wafting through the apartment?
