L.A. Baby

California

Am gearing up for an adventure next week, taking Bo with me to L.A., so I was looking back through some old pictures of our pre-kids trips there. I also had to laugh about this essay on a New Yorker visiting Los Angeles, especially this passage about why it's so great to live in Brooklyn: "I once saw “Much Ado About Nothing” performed entirely by rats and a pigeon on a G train that was being held by the dispatcher between stations. It was magnificent and repulsive. Now please stop talking to me while I wait for Ramon, my Uber driver/chillwave d.j./improv student, to arrive."

Big Moves

Bo, 2016

Bo is sitting, attempting to pull himself up, and face planting pretty frequently these days. I don't think I've quite absorbed how crazy things are going to get around here when he's fully on the move, but I'm certainly proud of his new tricks.

Lately

New York, 2016

Settling into the groove of early fall in Brooklyn, with birthday parties, blistering heat waves and thunderstorms, and plenty of moments of cuteness with our three small pirates.

Bo: Nine Months Old

Williamsburg, 2016

Better late than never! Bo is nine months old and full of dimply, giant-smiled goodness. His brothers love him to bits...

Here's a peek back at Oscar and Axel at the same age.

Ozzy's Turn

Williamsburg, 2016

Not one to be left out, Oscar started school himself today. He was very brave and cheerful about the whole affair, pretty much as expected.

Back to School

Williamsburg, 2016

Axel started full time Pre-K today, and he seems raring to go.

Today was a transition day and he was a tad puzzled at why we had to leave all the cool toys and new friends when we'd only just arrived. Good question, kid.

Here's a look back at his first days in the 2s and 3s program. Getting to be an old man...
