It's hard to know just how much Axel understands about where we are, or why we're not in Brooklyn, but he seems to be puzzling it all together.
And it still amazes me how much he accepts the day's events without question. When a new round of cousins arrived on Sunday after a day's travel from Singapore, he got right into the thick of things. More cousins? Why not?
We are getting the hang of things, with little walks down to the beach and intense Lego negotiations keeping us busy.
