Williamsburg, 2012 |
Nice to get back into the city swing of things after a weekend away. I feel like we've been insanely productive lately (is this the famed second trimester burst of manic energy you hear about?) But as glad as I am to be powering through the to do list, I am also trying to take it easy this week.
I have my third (!) job interview today and as it's looking more and more like a strong possibility that I will go back to work, and soon, I am doing my best to relish my down time in Brooklyn, naps, and lazy mornings when I don't have to rush out of the house. Going back to work full time at this stage is kind of counter-intuitive, and if it weren't the right opportunity, I probably wouldn't even consider it.
But as I said to a friend last week, since everything else in my life (home, baby, etc.) is changing so dramatically right now, why not this too? A little upheaval now will make for a lot more stability later, so I think it's worth it (crossing my fingers I get it.)
