20 and 21 Weeks
20 and 21 weeks have come in a happy blur. We did some swimming, some sailing, some hiking, and plenty of relaxing in the Virgin Islands. I definitely had a growth spurt somewhere along the way and Will was able to feel the baby's movements for the first time. A waitress also noticed I was pregnant (first open acknowledgement of bump by a stranger!)
I've been feeling great (perfect temperatures and virgin pina coladas no doubt a contributing factor.) When we first booked this trip I was slightly worried I might feel unwieldy in the heat, bugged by mosquitos, or just a little weary from the travel, but it couldn't have been more pleasurable.
I'm feeling the baby quite consistently in the mornings and evenings, usually when I am in bed (and then in random short sprints throughout the day.) And I am now up about 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. The baby now weighs just over a pound, and is either the size of a banana or a spaghetti squash (huh?)
Now that I'm more than halfway there it's starting to feel much more tangible.

Wow, it looks so beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Just what a pregnant mama needs and deserves! Congrats on your banana/spagetti squash ;)
