Make that very few plans.
Tonight we're having some friends for dinner and are making some good winter fare...filet mignon, mashed potatoes, the works. I picked up some cornichons and a baguette from the Bedford Cheese Shop, and we have some nice camembert that needs to come out of the fridge soon.
Have been skulking around the internet today and thought I'd share some tidbits.

Also, what is it about Australian blogs that's so darn lovely?
I can waste hours, happily, just scrolling through blogs like Little Glowing Lights, This Little Port, or Absolutely Beautiful Things. Perhaps I'm color starved, but these Australian ladies seem to know how to live. Lots of beach picnics, culinary adventures, flowers, sundresses.
I've never been to Australia, but I've been enjoying watching the Aussie invasion in New York. At Toby's Estate, a new local coffee shop, there are always droves of them having 2-hour long catch ups over tea.
Is my love of Paris misplaced? Should I really be dreaming of Sydney?
